Bicycle Accessories
As someone who lives in a city where traffic is going from bad to worse, I am proud to see those who choose to travel by bicycle instead of cars. I think their decision even more impressive considering the amount of problems that can result. Cyclists have to deal with all kinds of challenges that do not affect the drivers, so it’s good to know that there are a number of bicycle accessories that can alleviate some of these challenges. Accessories can include lights, locks, pumps, racks, trailers and even computers, and can be purchased in most stores or bicycle shop.
One of the most common bicycle accessories and important is the light of the bicycle. This device makes this more safe cycling and at the same time make it easier to see and be seen. The bike lights are usually powered with batteries, although some use an electric generator. The latter option has the advantage of unlimited duration, but the maximum output power is relatively low. The lamps used in bicycle lights are divided into three categories. In order to darker bright tungsten filament, halogen and high intensity discharge (hid). The cost of these lights, as expected, increases with the level of light produced. The X2 MiNewt NiteRider LED, DiNotte 600-LI-HC and Tril Sigma Sport / Cuberider Combo are all examples of bicycle lights.
Bicycle theft can be a big problem among cyclists, particularly in urban settings. Bicycle locks are usually intended to be used in connection with racks or locks, but realistic, is used to secure the bicycle to any object. The problem with bikes is that different parts are separated. So even if you make sure the front wheel of the bicycle, the rest of the bike can be detached and stolen. The most effective and safest lock the frame of the bicycle to an immovable object. U-shaped locks are the safest way to lock the bike. The bodies of these locks are usually solid steel, making them very difficult for thieves to cut. Chain and cable locks are also popular, although the level of effectiveness depends on the strength of its materials.
Anyone with a bike, you should probably have a pump to inflate (or pump). The price ranges from $ 20 to $ 120.
